Speckle Noise Suppression Based on an Adaptive Weighted Morphological Filter

In this paper, a novel adaptive weighted morphological algorithm is proposed. Experimental results prove that the new operators' performance dominates those of classical morphological algorithm and weighted morphological algorithm for suppressing speckle noise.
