Reserch on spinning of polyvinylidene fluoride hollow fiber membranes
Lu Xiaolong · 2005
PVDF hollow fiber membrane was prepared by dry-wet spinning technology. The effects of the additives, such as, the pore-forming agent of polymer, the non-solvent, and the surface active agent, on the process of preparing membrane are studied. The results show that the pore-forming agent of polymer is able to increase the viscosity and emulsification of the solution; the non-solvent of small molecular weight is able to decrease the viscosity of the solution and promote the micro-phase separation; and the small-molecular surface active agent is able to increase the stability of the solution. As a result, based on the combined additive, PVDF hollow fiber membrane with the proper pore size, high water flux can be prepared by adjusting the ratio of three kinds of additives.
