This paper outlines supply chain management (SCM) together with problems existing in the application of SCM. Then the paper describes a new kind of Web Service technology and its service - oriented architecture . Also the paper thoroughly analyzes the promotion of the supply chain management system by Web Service technology. In the end, the trend of the application of Web Service to SCM products are demonstrated.
