Application of diversity reception with TD-SCDMA smart antennas

A method for diversity reception by TD-SCDMA smart antenna is presented,which can improve the performance of the equipment compared with space division multiple access(SDMA).Meanwhile,a new method for calculating the capacity of CDMA system is proposed,and this method can be used for proving that the diversity receiver of TD-SCDMA base station can meet the performance requirements of SDMA receiving equipment.
