Adaptive Filtering Applications in the Detection of Evoked Potentials

Using recursive least square (RLS) adaptive algorithms and fast transversal filter (FTF) adaptive algorithm to process the Evoked Potentials(EP).Thereby effectively measured the Evoked Potentials(EP) from the measured EEG.Simulating though MATLAB and Comparing the Waveform of before filtering and after filtering through the two filtering methods. The results show that the method can extract EP from the stationary random noise signal. Because FTF have the merits such as simple structure, high accuracy, convergence speed and not sensitive to the convergence speed of data correlation. The filtering effect is more satisfied.
