NGN is a kind of multimedia network supporting speech, data and video information transmission. With the development of the network, how to guarantee the QoS of the NGN multimedia stream is becoming increasingly important. To insure the QoS of the multimedia stream the system must be assigned enough resources such as CPU,I/O and network bandwidth.More over, these resources will change dynamically during the transmission of multimedia. This paper proposes a adaptive session method with priorities. In this way,the system can adjust the QoS by using AIMD technology to adjust data frame.Experiment reveals that the method not only guarantees good QoS of the NGN multimedia stream but also make the best of the network resources.
