In this paper, we give a necessary and sufficient condition of strict rank preservation when adding a group of elements and using priority method LEM. By studying the relations of the condition of strict rank preservation when using REM and LEM and GMEN, respectively, we obtain the sufficient condition of strict rank preservation when adding a group of elements and using GMEM.
