The Research and Developing of Engineering Drawings and Documents Management Information System

An engineering drawings and documents management information system was studied and developed to meet the practical needs that large numbers of engineering drawings and documents have to be managed normatively and efficiently.This paper introduced the system platform framework,developing environment and key technologies,and the main accomplished functions.The system can run on Intranet or Internet,it was proved that the system had wide usage and could effectively manage the resources of corporation's engineering drawings and documents after being put into practice.
