A New Gabor Filter Application in Writer Identification

To achieve more local features and get faster speed,a new Gabor filter was proposed to extract features. Different Gabor filters' parameters can extract different features,which was important to Gabor filter.Therefore, a detailed analysis of different parameters is carried out,such as different angles and frequencies et al.Experiments executed on writer data showed this method can get promising results.
