Problem of interoperability in semantic Web service system
Yang Jing · Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems · 2006
Pervious interoperability mechanism didn't specify the behaviors of business processes, so it was difficult for business processes to accurately designate tasks and satisfy the requirement of semantic interoperability among distributed and heterogeneous applications on Web. In order to solve this problem, a set of effective interoperability mechanism was presented. Adopting interface technology to abstractly describe the service behavior, which was relevant to Web service. This mechanism effectively solved the communication and collaboration problems between both sides of the services, and it also used appropriate mediation technology to solve heterogeneous problems during the course of service interaction. In order to testify the mechanism, a case of Online Healthy Consultant System (OHCS) was provided, and its working principles and interoperability implementation were also discussed in detail.
