Design of Broadband LC Bandpass Filter with Cascading Method

The method of cascading the HPF and LPF to realize the BPF is introduced,and the LC bandpass filter with the frequency range from 100MHz to 400MHz is designed.HPF with the stop frequency of 100MHz and LPF with the stop frequency of 400MHz are cascaded to broaden the frequency range.The notch point of HPF and LPF are set respectively for a better rectangle coefficient and out band rejection.Accuracy of the theoretical design method is verified by the simulated results.More than 4 octaves,flat transmission performance,good match at both input and output ports and 1.2 of rectangle coefficient are obtained by optimization.
