H_∞ Optimal State Fusion Estimation and Its Application to Paper Basis Weight Estimation

H∞ optimal state fusion estimation algorithm is presented based on the state fusion estimation of information theory, H∞ theory and the difficulty of paper basis weight estimation. The algorithm can fully utilize the coupling performance between different states and the measurable information and fuse several outputs to estimate one state of paper machine. The simulation results have shown the usefulness of the proposed algorithm.
