Design of a Direct Digital Frequency Synthesis System Based on DSP and FPGA

The device for servo signal generation is necessary for reading and writing the channel of micro hard disks.This paper studies a programmable signal device by the direct digital frequency synthesis technology based on DSP and FPGA.This device has a high frequency resolution of 0.001Hz,a high precision of frequency, phase and amplitude of output wave, good reliability,and little distortion. Compared with general devices, this device can generate all kinds of servo signals,and the circuitry is simple,reliable and programmable.
