New Generation Mobile Communication and Its Applications

An overview of domestic and overseas study of the new generation mobile communications and its new application are introduced. The huge potential values of application of the new generation mobile communication in the intelligent transport system (ITS) and high-speed railway mobile communication system (HS-RMCS) are emphasized. The inherent features, typical system and network architectures of the new generation mobile communication are described, and the key technologies to be involved are looked into.
