Method of Fractal Image Coding Based on Scaling Factor

Scaling factor is an important variable in the fractal coding algorithm.According to the values of the minimum mean square error,a more flexible calculation method is given.Based on the method of simplifying the scaling factor in the basic algorithm,the purpose of accelerating the fractal coding is achieved.This method can save the time of 45% when PSNR drops approximately 0.03 dB,compared with the basic fractal coding algorithms.
