An algorithm for checker board corner detection based on edge-center criterion

Aiming to the checker board corner patterns which are most widely used in camera calibration,a new algorithm is proposed.On the basis of considering the mathematical characters of the corners,edge-center dual criterion is designed.The algorithm can be executed easily.It is robust for the rotation transform,the intensity transform and the distortion.It also adapts to the edge blur.With this method,it is easy to deal with many images continually,so it is useful in camera automatic calibrating online.
