Visualization of groundwater numerical modeling

It first discussed the complexity and the inconvenience of groundwater numerical simulation encountered in DOS environment. Then it introduced the characteristics of groundwater numerical simulation in graphical user environment with GMS4.0 as an example. With the tehchniques of object-oriented programming and GIS incorporated, groundwater numerical simulation realized visualization. It concluded that it is very convenient in a graphical user environment for one to set up models, prepare data and view result. It also reflected the main trend and developing direction of groundwater numerical simulation.
