THE WATERMARKING TECHNOLOGY BASED ON FRACTAL COMPRESSION

This article proposed a method of embedding watermarking into an image by using fractal compression scheme. For a digital image, we encoded it by using the traditional fractal coding and frequential fractal coding respectively. By comparing the codes, we selected some range blocks and modified their codes. That is to say, we watermarked images by taking the place of the first-matched domain blocks with the second-matched domain blocks of the code. Experimental results show that the proposed method degrades the image quality little and has good robustness to blurring, to noise disturbance and to cropping.
