A Novel MAC Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks

This article presents a mixed MAC protocols combining listen/sleep mechanism and CDMA through analyzing MAC protocols operating principle,strengths and weaknesses,the existing problems,network channel access mechanism and efficiency.The protocols use periodic listen/sleep mechanism CDMA technique to ensure data smooth transmission,so as to realize the effective utilization of energy.Finally,NS2 is used to prove the superiority and high efficiency of the new method.
