Improvements of two LDPC decoding algorithms as applying in the OFDM system

In future 3G+mobile communications,the extensively adopted technique OFDM is required to adopt mul- tilevel modulation.Hence,How to combine the channel coding LDPC with the multi-modulation OFDM is our pri- mary work.In this paper,we improve the simplified probability-likelihood and Log-likelihood LDPC decoding algo- rithms based on binary modulation,which enables them to apply in multilevel modulation based OFDM system.The simulation result demonstrates the validity of these two improved algorithms,and compared with Turbo codes,the improved algorithms perform better when LOPC applies in OFDM system.
