Design and Implementation of Automatic Water Meter Reading Systems

The artificial reading of water meters consumes a lot of manpower and material resources, moreover the collecting of the data has large time span, and low accuracy. Based on the idea of intelligent management system of long-distance reading of water meter, this article puts forward a whole scheme of automatic water meter reading systems and the way of how to realize it, including the design and debug of software and hardware, such as the whole structure of system, data collecting system, data processing and so on. The system has its characteristics, such as collecting data rapidly, efficiently and easy to be operated and so on. It will lower the investment cost and the running cost, and improve the acceptance ability of the residents, so it has important meaning and practical value.
