This article researches on the incremental opto-electric encoder and analyze its fourfold frequency multiplication principle,it gives a method based on FPGA to multiply the signal of the incremental opto-electric encoder,differentiates its phase and counts its number,the controled object's precision of measure and control can be heightened.
