DEA as Applied to the Analysis of Input-output Efficiency

Production function is a mirror of the relationships between inputs and outputs,which is normally estimated by parameters or non-parameters.Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA) is a means of studying production function by non-parameter estimation.This paper introduces the past three years' experience in this respect,discusses its advantages and points out its deviation and revision in empirical analysis.
