Distribution Redundancy Storage Based on GlusterFS

The traditional storage model can not meet the rapid development of network and application.This paper is on a new data storage technology which proves to be superior to the traditional one.It gives a brief introduction to GlusterFS distribution file system,analyzes its construction and explains the methods of installation and correct configuration and the testing of corresponding system.The testing includes system automatic redundancy,system reliability(fault-tolerant) due to the redundancy,online file synchronization,file synchronization after fault recovery.Testing results show that the new technology has a greater advantage over the traditional storage system.
