Elliptic curve cryptography(ECC) has high security, but is weak in real-time for large volume of data composed of fragmentary files to be encoded. One hierarchical encryption method termed XORECC is proposed,in which XOR operation is applied to each of fragmentary files with different secret vectors(SVs) for generating ciphertext, and then the different SVs are placed into a lock-box.Finally,the lock-box is encrypted using ECC to ensure high security of entire systems.Accordingly,XORECC avoids the direct encryption of ECC to large volume of data and improves encrypting speed.Hence,XORECC would enhance the performance of encryption systems.
