Research on Intrusion Detection Techniques

In the field of Network Security, Intrusion Detection Technique is the main active protection. This paper begins with the concepts of intrusion detection, then details its classifications and development.Intrusion analysis techniques,the key methods in IDS, are analyzed and compared comprehensively; some possible approaches are provided against the main obstacles of IDS. Finally, a new intrusion detection infrastructure combined with data fusion and intrusion tolerance is presented.
