A new kind of fuzzy model for soft morphological color image processing

In this paper, a fuzzy model for color soft morphological is proposed. The fuzzy soft morphological erosion and dilation are defined based on a vector-ordering scheme that uses fuzzy if-then rules. The color fuzzy soft morphological operators presented, which are vector preserving, perform significantly better in noise removal problems than other reported color morphological operators. Experimental results demonstrate these advantageous characteristics on color images.
