Implementation of debugging in embeded systems with multi-image loading-symdefs files in ARM and debugging based on μC/OS-II

The symdefs file is a type of object file of ARM system that contains symbols and their values of the input image.The multi-image loading method based on symdefs files download the kernel of operation system and their application tasks separately,instead of download all of the files at one time.Firstly this paper introduces what is symdefs files and the multi-image loading method,then discusses how to use the multi-image loading method on the EasyARM2104 board where the μC/OS-Ⅱis proted to.The result of the tests shows that the multi-image loading method can not only work as traditional method,but also shorten the download time and accelerate the development.
