Research on Cultivation Mode of College Students Majoring in Sign Language Translation

This paper mainly introduces the current situation in cultivating sign language translation students in China,and points out the problems existing in the process. Subsequently,suggestions are made with regard to reforming the work: specifying train- ing objectives,relying on the advantages of resources of the college; developing diversified sign language translation cultivation modes,strengthening curriculum development,and constructing rational sign language training courses system.
