The Network Video Storage System Based on IPTV

Mass information storage and retrieval has been an important issue of the network video systems based on IPTV. Aiming at the disadvantages of traditional systems,a novel network video storage system is proposed. And the model and its implementation method are given.The system adopts a P2P storage model and the hotspot processing meehanism to improve storage efficiency.Based on a distributed hash table,the system utilizes a P2P retrieval method to accelerate film searching and so on.And a transparent client interface is given.Compared with the traditional systems,this one is efficient and fast.
