Real-time Monitoring Recorder for Multiplexing Arresters States Based on LM3S1138

To carry out condition-based maintenance on arresters,an online monitoring method for the status of arresters is proposed. ARM processor LM3S1138 based on Cortex -M3 core,was used as a major controlling chip. It did power -off protection for the recorded action information of arresters by using its internal Flash memory. Three signal transceiver circuits,man-machine interface and printer interface circuit were designed. Signal was transmitted by shielded twisted pair after differential processing. Test results show that real-time monitoring of states on multiplexing arresters were realized,which facilitates the integrated automation management of electrical equipments.
