Intrapulse Modulation Recognition of Radar Signals Based on Cepstrum Analysis

The radar modulation signals can be considered to be composed through the convolution of the carrier-operated signal and the modulation signal.Based on the theory of cepstrum transform,the radar modulation signal is decomposed logarithmically,where the relationships are converted to linear summarization.Then the components are separated through the filtering.These processes are helpful in distilling the signal modulation parameters and to further recognition.Finally,the simulation analysis is made with LFM and PSK signals with variable SNRs.Results show that the cepstrum method is very effective.
