An Approach for Image Enhancement Based on Wavelet Transformation and Histogram Equalization

In this paper,an algorithm based on histogram equalization and wavelet transformation is proposed for image enhancement.This algorithm can not only enhance image contrast,but also bate the noise and highlight image detail.The results gained by experiment indicate that this method can improve the definition of an image effectively.
