Study of a Capacitance-Based Self Model-Establishing Sensor for Measuring Water Content of Soil
Jiandong Hu · Journal of Transcluction Technology · 2004
A fast sensing, low cost and reliable sensor based on self model-establishing for measuring water content in soil is studied. The type of the soil influences greatly on the measurement results of the water content. A self model-establishing method is used to reduce the influence of soil types. Because of self establishing model embedded into the sensor, the sensor for measuring water content of soil can be used widely in countryside.
