Three-phase Short-circuit Fault Voltage Sag Detection Based on S Transform

A method of short duration power quality disturbance based on S- transform was proposed. Data was extracted from the S- transform result,the S- complex matrix and the S- mode matrix,to study the voltage sag amplitude of the three- phase short- circuit fault,phase jump,duration and harmonic content. The simulation results show that this method achieves a good detection quality for the characteristics of three- phase short- circuit fault voltage dips.
