Modeling of the Generalized MIMO Channel Matrix

The evolving process of channel matrix from traditional joint detection(JD) systems to traditional multi-in-multi-out(MIMO) systems was presented and a novel generalized MIMO channel matrix model was proposed.The evolving process shows that,MIMO and JD can be unified in this model.Moreover,with such a channel matrix model,the detection algorithm of Bell lab layered space time(BLAST) code in traditional MIMO systems can also be used in JD systems with a better(0.7?dB) bit error rate(BER) performance.
