Medical Image Denoising Method Based on Wavelet Transformation

This paper evaluated median filter in company with wavelet transformation to process X-ray image that contained Gauss noise and impulse noise at the same time. Analyzed experimental result via PSNR standard, it showed that the method can better keep the edge information of the original image and wipe off noises synchronously. Its result was better, compared with applied median filter or wavelet transformation only.
