Alarm Correlation and Fault Localization Based on Petri
Li Ping · Microelectronics & Computer · 2001
Modern communication networks have increased dramatically in size and complexity in the last few years. As a typical network may consist of hundreds of nodes from various manufacturers with different traffic and bandwidth requirements, alarm correlation and fault localization can play an important role in modern communication networks. This paper presents the Petri-based alarm correlation to be used to filter unnecessary or irrelative alarm and to help fault localization.
