Traffic statistics is the core of intelligent transportation systems.An reference and protection are provided with the traffic statistics accurately and quickly control the transportation system.Application of more vehicles now have Loop detector detectors,microwave detectors and photoelectric detectors,but these approaches have the shot hardware be used of very short time,interferences and other shortcomings.Recent years,with increasingly sophisticated computer vision technology,video-based detection technology has many respected scholars and experts.Two video-based traffic statistics about the vehicle detection and vehicle tracking and statistics are presented in this article.
