Preparation of BSA-Filled Facilitated Transport Membrane and Analyzing the Facilitated Transport Mechanism

The BSA filled facilitated transport ultrafiltration membrane is prepared by filling albumin into the unsymmetrical finger like polysulfone membrane. Experiments demonstrate that it can well remove the lipophilic toxins, bilirubin. By analyzing the facilitated transport mechanism, a mathematical model is proposed and the numerical solution as well as the model parameters are obtained.It shows that the model predictions are in good agreement with the experimental data by studying the facilitated factor F.
