Research on Selection of Factors in Design of Experiments Based on Data Mining

Factor selection of traditional experimental design mainly depends on qualitative judgments,lack of supports from quantitative analysis.This paper introduces some data mining techniques aiming at the factor selection problem in experiment design.Historical data can be used more efficiently to support factor selection so as to reduce the experimental complexity and cost.
