Study on the Skeleton Section of Rogoswki Coil Skeleton for Measuring 8/20 μs Lightning Current

According to the characteristics of 8/20 μs lightning current,on the basis of analysis of the Rogowski coil measurement principle,combined with the simulation of its dynamic characteristics,it is concluded that error of rectangular skeletal section is smaller than the circular skeletal section.And the self-integral Rogoswki coil with the ratio of skeleton cross-sectional width to length is 4 is designed,which better meet the requirements of self-integrating Rogoswki coil measurement accuracy,and it is proved that Rogoswki coil is suitable for the measurement of big amplitude lightning current which change rapidly.Finally,the main reason which causes the Rogoswki coils’ measurement error is analyzed.
