On the Writing and Translation of the Abstracts of the Research Paper

The importance of the writing and translation of the abstract to the research paper is self-evident.But at the same time,it has always been a headache for many research paper writers.Early in 1993,Qian Shaochang put forward the ABC principle—accuracy,brevity,and clarity.Based on this theory,this paper is to discuss what needs to be taken into consideration from both content and form of the abstract when writing and translating abstracts through a careful analysis of different abstracts.
