Analysis of XML-RFC Technology and Its Application

This paper explores the principles and characteristics of XML-RPC. During the process of coding the client program for Meerkat, Python is used to implement the functions similar to those of Arc Web services. It proves that, under certain circumstances, XML-RPC may fulfill the requirements of communication between different applications.
