Urban transportation demands prediction in information society

In high information society, trip information is knowable and traffic information can be collected real time. Based on the theory of maximal entropy, forecasting model from land use to traffic volume is established by the method of OD matrix estimation. The traditional forecasting pattern is predigested. A practice result indicates that the method is more suitable to the urban traffic prediction.
