Serial Communication between PC and MSP430 Single Chip in Implementation of Atmospheric Electric Field Measurement System under Environment of Delphi

The hardware and software implementation method for serial communication between computer under environment of Delphi and the data collecting system based on MSP430 Single Chip processor is introduced in this paper.The hardware circuit and communication protocol are analyzed,and communication software between computer and single chip is designed.It special emphasis is placed on the usage of MSComm controller,and the application of this method to real-time data collection of atmospheric Electric Field Measurement early warning system successfully realized its functional requirements.Practical application shows that this proposed communication scheme has high stability and simple control,possesses high engineering practicability and excellent market prospect.
