SaaS Model and Medical Informationization

Commencing from the basic concept and core characteristics of Software as a service (SaaS), the medical information architecture based on SaaS model is analyzed. As a new delivery method of information products, SaaS has a lot of superiorities in medical and health industry, and it can provide high availability and low cost information products for small and medium-sized medical institutions, which can produce positive effects on the process of medical and health informationization.
