Mammography Compression based on Two-Grade Region of Interest

With breast screening service for women being widely available,it is increasingly urgent to compress mammography effectively.On the premise that the compressed mammography has no negative effect on diagnosis,a compression method based on two-grade region of interest was put forward in this paper.By improving CHA algorithm and SPIHT coding algorithm,mammography was compressed with high quality.
