Design of Fault Location Device on Fault Generated Travelling Waves Based on MCU+CPLD Structure

The paper introduces the principles,structure and characteristics of fault location device based on MCU+CPLD detailedly. In order to improve the measure precision and avoid the deadtime of the cycle memory, the CPLD is used to design the high-speed data acquisition and time-flag module.The simulation show the design is right.
