A Slice-based Algorithm for Evaluation of the Regular Expression Coverage Capability

This paper presents an algorithm used to evaluate the coverage capability of regular expression.The whole regular expression is divided into several fragments by the algorithm,and the number of examples of covering for each fragment is then analyzed.And the product is the covering number of examples for the regular expression.
